Abigail Elliott (Co-Producer & Director of Photography)...
 

...was born in Southern California,ventured east to New York City where she studied at the T. Schreiber Studio under her mentor Betty Buckley discovering her ability to direct. Elliott directed four plays in her first year in the prestigious black-box theatre at the George Street Playhouse to sold-out houses in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

 

After some training at a local public television station, Elliott began producing and directing her own local program covering the arts in NJ and NYC, which included guests such as Alyson Reed, Melissa Etheridge, MartinScorsese, Lauren Graham and Marge Redmond. ​The highlight of Ms. Elliott’s professional career has been writing her first feature length screenplay, Safe and Sound, with co-writer Jane Addis Docken, which she hopes to someday direct. The screenplay has been recognized inthree film festivals in the last year.

 

Since returning to California in ’07 in pursuit of directing her film, Elliott has worked as an Associate Producer for the Discovery Health Channel and Style Network, as Story Producer for Country Music Television, and ExecutiveProducer for her pilot series Real Anatomy. She has also found herself behind the lens as Director of Photography for two feature documentary projects.
